Mental Health Periscope

This Tuesday (as in tomorrow) I will be doing another mental health periscope. I did one about a month ago, and IO thought it was a success. There was a lot of interaction, I enjoyed answering questions and getting the conversation going. SO what will I be talking about? Heres a bullet point list but depending on questions, I could talk about other aspects of mental health

  • The importance of the mental health conversation
  • Taking care of yourself, before others
  • Finding a routine and sticking with it
  • Having good distractions from racing thoughts
  • Support system on/offline
  • Letting go of people who bring you down/down play your mental illness
  • Learning to forgive past actions
  • Social Anxiety
  • BPD
  • Depression
  • Suicide awareness, signs
  • Self harm, distractions
  • Its ok not to be ok

I have talked about these things before in some aspect, but will reiterate them on periscope because they’re important. I hope to see you all there!
